Bodegas Lar de Barros was founded by the Diaz family in 1931. The wine making traditions of the region are combined with modern techniques to produce tantalizing red, rosé, white and cava wines. The vineyards are located in the Tierro de Barros area of the Ribera de Guardiana DO. The bodega uses tempranillo, macabeo, cabernet sauvignon and pardina grapes as well a smaller amounts of other varieties Crianza Lar de Barros Crianza is made from 100% tempranillo grapes. As a crianza, it is aged in oak barrels for 12 months and 2 years in the bottle Cherry red color woth lively purple tones.Intense aroma of blackberries and licorice. Spicy notes of wood with a note of vanilla and cacoa. Ample, powerful and well structured. Recomendations: Soft cheese, red meat, stews, and game dishes. |
