Vinos De La Tierra De Castilla

Table wines produced within the geographic area of Castilla may use the designation of "Vino de La Tierra De Castilla". This designation assures that the wine is produced using grapes grown within the geographic area and meet the quality standards of the region. "De La Tierra" designations are different than Denominations of Origin in that they are generally used for table wines that do not fall within the Denomination of Origin definitions. The "De La Tierra" designations were created to provide assurance to the consumer of the origin and quality of the table wines.
